My AC broke and I started I called my regular AC guy. He quoted me and I found the price to be somewhat steep. That led me to shop around on the Web. I went to Google and typed in "price for a Rheem 3 Ton 13 Seer Unit" and Amplus Air Conditioning popped-up as the 2nd or 3rd hit. Clicked on it and called Mike right away, around 7:45pm by the way. He answered himself. I explained the problem to him and he gave me a quote over the phone. I asked for a formal quote and he emailed me one that same night. After reading the reviews on his web site and also the "www.yellowpages.com", I contracted them immediately. Mike gave me the most competitive quote (out of 3) for the same exact Rheem unit. They came out the very next morning and installed the whole thing in about 1.5 hours. The service was prompt, and they know what they're doing!! I will hire them again, and hightly recommend them.

My compressor was about to break down, and after getting 2 other estimates from other companies I called Amplus after I found them through the BBB (Better Business Bureau), with no complaints ever filed against them, and where they have a A- rating.

We scheduled a appointment for the next day and Mike showed up right on time. I did not tell him I already had 2 other estimates, but his price was over $400 less than the best other estimate for the same compressor, but with a better air handler than either of the other 2 quotes I received. I agreed to the price and we scheduled the installation for 2 days later, since it was not a emergency.

Mike obtained the permits with the City of Hollywood the next day and his crew showed up at 9:00AM as promised and had the new system up and running by 2:00pm. They were very professional, clean, and did a outstanding job. They also applied the FPL rebate to the price of the unit, which one of the other companies that quoted me could not do since they were not a FPL approved contractor. I am now saving quite a few dollars on my electric bill.

When the City of Hollywood building code inspector came out for the final inspection he said he was very impressed with the quality of the work on both the compressor and air handler.

I am very happy with the work and so satisfied I am planning to call them within the next few weeks to clean out my air ducts, which is also a service they perform.

After calling Amplus at 2:30 in the afternoon, they showed up only 1 HOUR later ready to fix what another company could not. Mike diagnosed the problem immediately, ordered the parts, and installed them quickly the very next morning. I HIGHLY recommend Mike and his crew, and will never use another service again. They are professional, friendly, work very fast, and were 1/2 of what I was quoted by the first AC people I called. Need I say more?
